Who provides the service

Nottifai LLC operates Roombai and roombai.com. Questions, cancellation requests and complaints can be sent to support@nottifai.com. You can also reach the creator at @joeldev_. These terms cover the website and sponsorship service. The app’s source code is licensed separately as described below.

To purchase a placement, you must be legally able to enter a contract and authorized to act for the business you represent. The applicable price and these terms must be available to you before you agree to purchase.

What a sponsorship includes

You receive a linked company logo in one identified square on roombai.com for 30 consecutive days. There are two walls with ten positions each; mobile layouts display the same inventory in the page. A sponsorship does not buy an in-app ad or a placement on forks, GitHub or third-party sites.

Squares are booked and paid online at roombai.com/sponsor with a one-time payment processed by Stripe. The total is shown on the Stripe checkout page before you pay. No physical goods are shipped.

A new placement’s 30-day term begins when payment is confirmed and the placement is activated. Delayed payments do not activate a placement until confirmed. Renewing an active placement adds 30 days after its current expiry; an expired placement starts a new term when confirmed, subject to availability. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. New prices apply only to future purchases, not an already purchased term.

Layout and square dimensions vary by screen size. We do not guarantee impressions, clicks, downloads, leads or sales. Public counters are approximate, self-reported audience measurements, not audited advertising results. If a paid placement fails to appear, contact us promptly so we can restore it or refund undelivered time.

Cancellations and refunds

Before a placement starts: you can cancel for a full refund of the placement payment.

After it starts: you can cancel for a prorated refund of the unused portion of your 30-day term. We also refund undelivered time if we cannot provide the placement. The prorated amount is the placement price paid multiplied by the unused portion of the 30-day term, calculated from the time we receive your cancellation request or the start of the undelivered period, as applicable. We do not deduct a cancellation fee.

Email support@nottifai.com with your company name, square and payment reference. Do not send card details or a private management token. We will verify the purchase, confirm the amount, end the placement and arrange the refund to the original payment method where supported. Bank and payment-provider processing times vary. We refund applicable taxes as required.

You can request a refund for a duplicate charge or a paid placement that never starts. These rules also apply to unused time if we remove a placement. Nothing here limits mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer rights under applicable law.

Logo rights and content rules

You retain ownership of your logo and other materials. You give us permission to resize and display the submitted name, logo and link to deliver the purchased placement. You must have the rights to those materials and provide accurate details and a lawful, working website.

Do not submit impersonation, misleading offers, malware, scams, illegal content, material infringing another person’s rights, or content promoting violence or hatred. We may reject or remove placements that violate these rules, create a security risk or must be removed by law. We will explain the reason where lawful and practical; unused time is handled under the refund policy above. Sponsorship does not imply our endorsement of your company, and you may not claim otherwise.

Payments and support

If Stripe checkout is available, Stripe processes the payment. A checkout attempt is not a confirmed purchase until payment succeeds. Temporary reservations may expire. If a payment is pending or its status is unclear, contact us before paying again.

Keep any receipt and private management link secure. A management link can authorize changes or renewal of a placement; do not publish it. Contact us if you lose access. We may ask for evidence of the purchase before changing a placement or issuing a refund.

The free, open-source app

Roombai’s source code is available under the MIT license. That license governs your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the code, including its warranty and liability provisions. These website terms do not reduce those rights. A sponsorship purchase is optional and is not required to use the app.

The app and website may contain errors or experience downtime. Except for our express placement and refund commitments and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose. Use of third-party websites and services is governed by their terms.

Privacy, changes and disputes

Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed by the website, desktop app and sponsorship service. Contact us first about a problem so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights you have under applicable law.

We may update these terms for future use and purchases by posting a new dated version. Changes do not retroactively reduce an existing paid placement or its refund rights. If we discontinue a paid placement, we refund the undelivered portion under the policy above.
